Meet Emma, from Do Yoga

Hello and welcome to Do Yoga, based in Weston-super-Mare!

I came to yoga at an early age, doing yoga with my Mum before I started school. I kept it up on an off through college, took up a daily practice in my twenties and finally trained to be a yoga teacher in 2002.

Somehow, I have now being doing yoga for 50 years, and teaching it for over 20 years. I’m a Senior Yoga Teacher and am registered with the Yoga Alliance.

Over the years I've attended many different schools and styles of yoga and meditation. Although I’ve been teaching for decades, I still continue my own studies, it’s a lifelong journey.

Since 2002 I have taught private sessions and groups of people of many different abilities and ages. The youngest participant was in a baby yoga class, and the oldest attended a chair yoga class and was an impressive 102 years old!

I am also qualified to teach and mentor other yoga teachers. If this is relevant for you, then attending my workshops will give you CPD points from the Yoga Alliance UK.

I have taken the Yoga Therapy training which can be of great benefit to those recovering from injury or illness. I'm a compassionate, friendly and patient teacher, committed to delivering high quality yoga sessions that will enhance wellbeing and develop a resilient community.

Sometimes, carefully selected colleagues will take the class. Rest assured that all our sessions are highly professional and above all, safe for you to participate in.
